The following terms of sale apply to all of our online & on-site sales.

Payment Methods

Preferred Payment method is Bank Wire Transfer or Cash (In Person).

We do accept Cashier’s Certified Check, Money Order or 3rd-party financing.
A five day hold is placed on cashier’s checks to verify the authenticity.
 
We will not ship until full payment is made and cleared.

All funds must be in US dollars only.  Call us for more information.

Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.

Deposits

All hold-deposits are non-refundable! If you are not serious about purchasing the vehicle do not leave a deposit!  Please!

eBay Deposits

The successful high bidder will submit a $500.00 non-refundable deposit to our PAYPAL account office@chicagoautomart.com  within 24 hours after close of the auction or upon final negotiation with your sales person to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed and cleared before delivery of the vehicle.

Fees and Taxes

Applicable fees are: $150.00 Documentation fee, $30.00 for Thirty days drives away permit fee for out of state customer's, Illinois Customer's will pay $95.00 Title fee and $129.00 for Illinois Licence Plates or $25.00 for tranfer Plates. Illinois Residents pay Sales Tax on the final price of the vehicle and are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title / registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.

We are required to collect Sales Tax if You are out of state buyers from AZ, CA, FL, HI, IN, MA, MI, SC.   

Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company - call us at 773-229-9066 for more information. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received and cleared before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Buyer's Inspection

Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. Chicago Auto Mart has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. Chicago Auto Mart welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.
